Senior Farmer's Market Nutrition Program

Administered by Mercer County Office on Aging, The Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program provides low-income seniors with $40 worth of benefits they can use to purchase fresh produce grown by New Jersey farmers.

Who Can Apply

Eligible Participants:

  • Seniors 60 years of age or older, residing in Mercer County
  • meet the income requirements level 

The benefit amount for each eligible senior participant will be $40 and will be accessed by issuance of a QR code.

Funds are limited. The issuing of benefits is first come first serve.

Program Deadlines

The following is a schedule for the 2025 SFMNP season:

  • Benefit issuance to seniors starts May 1, 2025
  • The first day to redeem SFMNP benefits is May 1, 2025
  • The last date to issue SFMNP benefits is September 30, 2025
  • The last day to redeem SFMNP benefits is November 30, 2025
