It is with much pleasure that I formally introduce myself as the new Executive Director for Interfaith Caregivers, replacing Jane Latini who has recently retired. I started about a week ago and already love the work that we are doing in our communities, with all of you. Over the next several weeks and months I hope to have a chance to meet and get to know all of you. And in fact I believe that some of you are attending Jane’s retirement party this weekend, so I will see you there.
I also wanted to take a minute and share with you that once again we have some Valentine’s Day gift baskets/boxes that we would like to share with our care receivers who may need a little extra support. The 8th grade class of Thomas Grover Middle School once again created these beautiful boxes filled with goodies and toiletries and special holiday decorations just for our folks. We have 27 boxes to share so our supply is a little limited but if you would like to pick one up for your care receiver please reach out to Andrea in our office and she can help make that happen for you. I have added Andrea’s email above to make it easier to reach her or of course you can just call our office.
(We may have some snow challenges tomorrow so please be patient if we have to close and reach out on Friday instead.)
I hope that you will all stay safe and dry tomorrow and that you have a blessed day.
Linda Gyimoty, MA
