About Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County
Since 1994, Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County has enabled under-served, home-bound, seniors and adults with disabilities to maintain their independence and dignity. We do this by helping them remain in their own homes through non-medical support services, provided free-of-charge.
According to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, aging in place can result in significant savings for families, the government and health systems, as well as improved emotional and medical outcomes for the individual.
Our services are provided by a dedicated group of
volunteers who are recruited, trained and managed by Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County and our interdenominational coalition. It is a finely woven net of support for the most vulnerable among us.
We invite you to join us on this sacred journey. Help us sustain vital services for care-receivers in our communities and support and training for the caregivers who serve them.
